On my '93 Notch, I have a question about the dash. The dumb@$$ before me while putting in new instruments, has broken the two tabs that the instrument bezel (where speedo etc. is) bolts/screws to so it just kind of sits there flopping when going over bumps. Also, around the base of the tach (which is mounted to the flat area just to the right of the instrument bezel ) a couple of cracks have developed.
My main question is....in order to get rid of these two issues, is this going to require a new dash all together or is there some kind of insert etc. or other piece that I can buy to replace the damaged one. The areas that are in question seem to be all plastic.
Sorry I don't have a pic but I can get one if need be. Thanks for the help!!!!

If you mean The clear instrument cover bezel. they make new ones now, i bought one and it fit perfectly.
Most of the parts places have them, like Late Model Restoration, and even on Ebay.

If you mean the whole bezel, the black part with the switches and all, you can get one on ebay pretty cheap. There are differences between them, make sure you get one from a 90-93.

A real cheap fix, if you want, 2 L brackets screwed fast to replace the missing ears, and super glue

If you mean the two tabs at the top where the bezel bolts to, then yes you will need a new dash.

I had the same issue with a black dash. Was mint except the tabs were broken. Ended up buying a new black dash
