I started a major rebuild on my car, I burned a hole through a piston so I figured I'd do some major resto and lightening while I have the motor out. It was already pretty well stripped down to go fast, but I've managed to find another 100 lbs. or so of excess weight. Right now the engine bay is stripped bare, I'm doing some rust repair around the strut towers and filling in all unnecessary holes. After that's done a friend of mine is going paint the engine bay, inner fenders, and underside at least back to the torque boxes for now. Ive had the car for 20 years this year, so i figured she was do for a makeover! I can try to post more pics as I go if people are interested.
