novi 1000 power worth the $$?

with my mods i have listed i am running at roughly 300whp N/A

with a novi 1000 straight out of the box , what would my HP be with 6-8 pounds of boost?

Well I know a guy with a very similar setup as you running a Novi 1000 and 10lbs of boost and he dynoed 422rwhp. He is running 11.7@119mph at that hp on drag radials.

You have a great setup, and IMO the novi 1000 is probably the best choice for your combo. It is designed to put out a safe boost level 5-6psi (obviously you can increase or decrease your boost with any blower) and it's cheaper than the 2000, or the s-trim. It's sad to see a guy build a great car, and have it fly apart because of too much boost or too much nos. Go for the 1000

Oh, just a note. He cracked his original block the first time around running 10lbs. He's on his 2nd block.

Add or minus 10rwhp for every pound of boost you add or take off.

Anything above 400rwhp on a stock 302 block has a chance to crack.
