I'm now getting stupid POP-UP ad's in the background, while using this site? Anyone else having this issue? I have even gotten a COMMFLASH page load a few time, before the post comes up?
I've scanned my pc to clean-out crap, but still getting it and ONLY this site?

Is this a 'New Feature' since the CRASH

I use Firefox as well, but so far no pop-ups, thank god!

Here is the Stuipd COMMFLASH page that sometimes pops-up, before the page that Should load? What is up with this CRAP
I also have pop blocker and it's catching some, but not all. Also, notice in this commflash page, forums.stangnet is still in the URL?

I use AdSubtract Pro to stop pop ups, and to remove ads from web pages.

It does an excellent job on sites like this.

If they are putting more ads on here hopefully that will mean they are making more money and will be able to buy a better server to help prevent any more crashes. I too use Firefox with adblock so hopefully I will never see them.

I am using IE right now but have tried Firefox and am not getting the pop-ups. I am running XP Pro SP2 and using it's built in pop-up blocker and no problems, not even the yellow toolbar that comes up when a pop-up is blocked.

Yeah, I just ran Spybot and Adaware ... I'm not getting them anymore either.

I don't get a "pop up" but rather a redirect page for an add that allows you to skip it? Is this what your speaking of?

actually, the forums were rolled back to jan 3 because of the crash. this meant the templates for the forums were also rolled back. things are slowly being fixed back to the way they were.
