Sounds like if people are breaking stuff they don't have the right parts, and clearly it would cost more then $600 to do the turbo setup. If he had more then $1500 in a turbo setup though I'd be suprised.

Friend just built a turbo car in week, the whole thing was a stripped roller and that thing runs, drives, and hauls the mail....

Yup. Only thing is, it wasn't even a roller!! Didn't even have a K-member in it a month ago. Really didn't have one single major issue with the project. If you do your research, use the right parts, and have a little bit of common sense it's not that big of a deal. Oh, and without throwing out too much info, the car is plenty serious compared to what we're talking about here, and with a junk radiator and junk fan it won't go over 190 unless you're in town for too long. But this will definitely be fixed with a good radiator and real electric fan.

Believe me, I'm a HUGE fan of serious all motor cars. But, if he has the resources and money to do this right, the car will FLY with a very reliable, mild, streetable engine.

I say skip the S400 75mm turbo and get the S400 88mm one, youve got the cubes to make up for the larger impeller

91ghp5.0 i have AFR 185 58 cc heads. 85_SS_302_Coupe i plan to do the cam last so i can call the custom grinders to grind it to my mods and the turbo i just got done installing a quick time turbo system's system on my buddies coupe over the winter it's a67MM (I think) and the only issue is for some reason something is draining the battery?.Darkwriter77 thats the best selection!Now this is why i wont start the kit for a few months! SO i can get more opinions on this and HOPEFULLY not do stuff wrong like when i did the build of my motor (IE to small of cam)! I hope to sell my tremac set up with everything for $1200 or so? My headers and mac procamber mid pipe for a few $100 and my SLP loud mouth II cat back for a few 100.thats will fund some of my project. If you run meth do you need an intercooler? peace
