NPD Heater Fitting For Aftermarket Intake

I have an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake so I had to get the NPD heater fitting for an aftermarket intake (18599-10). Do I need to run a restrictor in one of the heater hoses?

Well, if it's a properly made repro, it is a restrictor. Look inside the hose nipple.
