NPI and nos?

it's called nitrous oxide or No2, stop watching fast and the furious
(sorry had to get that out)

hahahahahahaha or just in short nitrous. yea i get the same way when people refer to it as nos.

it should hold up just fine for either. and you dont really need anything unless u wanna get a step colder plugs just for safety. but really just plug and play.

What are u looking at wet or dry?

Doesn't hurt to be safe with it ;)

I went with the MSD digital window switch (nice piece :nice:) along with some other goodies. I actually have more money tied up in extras than I do the actual kit :rlaugh:

Bottle heater will be here either tomorrow or the next day, my xcal2 should be here in 2 days from JMS (was getting reflashed and tuned), I still have 2bottles that I need to sale since I really don't need two bottles, much less three. One of them is a 20lb bottle which is huge :rlaugh:

window switch, for sure. I wouldnt spray under 3500k to lessen the likely puddling effect http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ak6g6jCrWzY

and you might want to retard your timing if you go with a big shot. Ive seen many cars last a while on a 100shot. Just be ready to pay if you want to play with that stuff.

:rlaugh: weak. He sprayed that way too early, but doesn't puddling only happen with wet shots?

na u can spray under 3k if u want. NX told me you can spray at 2500 if u want but u have to be in a low gear like first. but a window switch is not necessary either unless u are running a wot switch and u like to switch gears without lifting ur foot off the gas. or when u hammer the gas pedal off the line u spine teh tires and dont let outta the gas before u hit the limiter.

why that guy got a nitrous backfire was because they were on the dyno and i would assume they did the run in either 3rd or 4th both steeper gears than first and they probably sprayed around 2500 and boom. u just have to be smart with it thats why i changed the wot switch they sent me into a push button because now i can go wot in a 2nd gear run and the nitrous not spray until i see the tach at 3 and then i push it.

Go with the NGK TR6s, you can get them for around $1.50 a plug at the local Oreillys or any other auto parts store.

My car is an automatic and I even went with the window switch.

If i was being a ricer i would have said nawzzzzz.....

ANyway wet or dry? what are the pros and cons?? i understand the basic diffrences on how it works..

Also are you telling me that no fuel system upgrade (pump, injectors) is needed for a 100hpshot?

thats correct you will not need anything for the 100 shot. especially on a wet kit. on the dry i would probably look into new injectors just as a precaution. but it shouldnt be needed. wet kit is safer in a way and more dangerous in a way than a dry kit a wet kit will always add same amount of fuel. dry kits rely on the ecm to richen up the mix when nitrous is sprayed. A wet kit if u spray too low of bottle pressure or you are too lean u can get a nitrous backfire.

dry kits advantage is its cheaper and if u are planning on staying under a 100 shot then its probably the way to go. wet kits are not necessary until u start upping power to 100 and beyond.

Nitrous tends to run around $4 per lb in my area (at the tracks anyways) so roughly $40 for a standard bottle. You'll get quite a few full passes out of a correctly filled bottle.

I suggest that you find a nitrous FAQ article and just read up on it. I imagine there is one at MOST mustang sites such as here, corral, ,m0dulardep0t, and so on.
