I know this has been discussed many times and I have searched and read a lot of great threads but I still dont know what I should do. I have a pair of Romeo PI Heads, and PI Intake Manifold for starters. I am debating on going two ways. (1) PI Heads + Intake Manifold with Mac LT's, shorty offroad H pipe, and diablo predator. OR (2) PI Heads + Intake Manifold with 4.10's, aluminum driveshaft, offroad H-Pipe, and diablo predator. Which will give me the best 1/4 mile slip. I just dont know which way to go. Any opinions are welcome. Thanks

if i was in your position, the 4.10s would take priority over the long tubes - I would probably put on long tubes instead of 4.10s if I was putting in some upgraded cams as well, where I knew that I would probably not be pulling the heads again once they were bolted. So I'd say option 2 for your case

It is a tough call... I agree with the above about gears being better than headers. However, the easiest time to install the headers would be when you are doing the other engine work.

Can't you just wait and do it all at once?

yeah, I want to do it all. But, I usually dont have a lot of extra money left over every month because of college. I should be able to do either #1 or #2 shortly after christmas because of extra time to work. If I do, I will go with the Mac LT's, Offroad H-Pipe, 4.10's and diablo predator and skip the aluminum driveshaft for awhile. Anyone know what kinda times I could expect with this combo?

are you still planning on doing the full pi swap? if so, I'd say mid 13s if you get traction
