NX kit - 100 shot

Nitrous doesn't really 'wear and tear'. It more of an all or none type of failure.

Colder plugs, high octane, safety switches (window, fuel pressure, & WOT) and safe tuning will keep your 4.6 happy.

well said :nice: if you use it correctly, it wont do any damage, if you are stupid about it, it will kill it completely....when it starts to wear you will know....lol your pistons will be bangging around in your oil pan.lol

Its pretty safe though. mod motors can take a 100 shot no sweat.

how would my motor hold up with the 100 shot with the mods that i've already got? (in my signature).. my buddy who drag races every saturday night, has an 89 mustang hatchback that used to have a 408 (now has a 438) is who was teaching me how to use it.. he showed me what to do and how to handle it.. but i'm just a little scared about tearing something up in my motor with a 100 shot, probably using a 10lb bottle one saturday a month..

it should hold up ok. but it kind of hard too put a time frame on it or mileage time frame. don't be stupid and your ok. asking us too put a time frame on how long it will run for is like askiing us too give you powerball numbers. and expecting them too be winners.

alright.. thanks for the help.. i just dont know about how nitrous is on a modular motor or anything that isnt built up internally. i've seen a few people blow their motors up out at the track, but then again they were using it like complete idiots.. what hp shot would you recommend for my first time? i was thinking 75 or 100, but i might do a 125

If you dont plan on getting on a dyno, start at 35hp. Step up from there casually and dont play over 100 if its your only ride.
