Agreed. I haven't driven a Stang with this mod done but I really don't think the pedal slack is THAT bad in stock form. If you adjust it yourself best know what you are doing else you risk snapping the throttle cable. If I were going to do this (which I would not) I would research the various instructions and techniques on the internet and then do the best and cleanest job possible.
For a lot of people that's common sense I am just putting it out there, there is a risk which is inversely proportional to your mechanical ability.
I am happy with the way it is set plus you do not need "heel to toe" in an auto.
