o/d off light coming on and off

jus as the title says, my o/d off green light pops up occasionaly when i get in my car sometimes, turn the car off and bak on its off.

is this normal oh and i have a 5spd and this isn't makin sense

Did you car use to have an auto? it could be from the comp not seeing the auto because of the 5-speed.

ok coming together now, there is a loose cable/ and wire hanging around my shifter area that i didn't kno what it went too. when i took the boot off i found em must be the O/D cable that is loosely bouncin around. This is what sucks about buying used.
