Well Ive driven the car for about three days after the O/R H and Mil Eliminators, and the Check Engine Light came on. I had just left home so I went back and disconnected the battery for a couple minutes. Then drove it for almost an hour, seems ok. Anyone else have a problem with check engine light coming on with the MIL eliminators??

Also does this also mean its going into LIMP mode where it pulls timing and fatten's up the mixture. I can live with the dash light for a li'l bit but would hate to be far from home and it not running right.

You will run in limp mode. Did you make sure you got all the o2 connections TIGHT?
What kind of MIL eliminators are you using?

BBK MIL eliminators out of Jegs. Pretty sure the O2 sensors are tight.

I have those same ones. I would check all of your connections again. Did you get the o2's mixed up during the install (front/rear)?

Then, do another reset of the PCM.

I made sure I only swapped one at a time so as to not mix 'em up. If the light comes on again I'll crawl underneath and make sure they are all tight. Maybe one got loose from the heat cycling of the exhaust?? I just thought it odd it was the third day I drove it that the light came on. This was the first cold early morning drive I did with it, and it came on within a mile from my house...

What's the code coming up? Mine did almost the same thing.. could drive for 20-25 miles then it would come on.. it was from a wire splice not being tight, although yours could be something else. The code would help narrow down where to look.

First, you won't run in limp mode if the rear o2's are throwing the codes. Second, as sgarlic said, make sure the code is related to the rear o2's, otherwise you may be chasing your tail.

What else might it be, if the only recent change was to the emissions system?

I'll have to check when/if the check engine light comes on again, but I havent done anything else to this car for a while. And its never happenned before. amnit:

Things were so much easier when all you had to deal with was a carberator and mechanical fuel pump. And you could sit in the engine compartment while wrenching...
