im about to help a friend install his o/r h-pipe and i was trying to get any tips on how to do this as easily as possible. it looks easy enough but then again it always turns into a headache.
he has stock manifolds, and flowmaster cat back.
any tips? its a bbk hpipe

Get some PB Blaster or Rust Eater spray to spray up on the manifold bolts and let it soak in a day ahead of time to make the bolts easier to break loose...They can be a bear...You'll need a couple universal joint adapters and probably a breaker bar to get up in there to get them loose too...other than that, it's pretty straight forward...Should take about 2-3 hours maybe once you get the car up in the air barring any issues that may arise...
Ditto the above post - I used wd-40 to loosen the bolts, seemed to work allright. I put a quick how-to up on my webpage HERE. I am sure there are other write-ups, but that's mine and I think it's good...
Good luck, give it plenty of time, and have some beer ready - it'll make the whole procedure more fun
