How much more hp and torque can a o/r prochamber produce over a regular o/r h pipe? Is it that big of difference?

1 or 2! But it won't be much. You should just listen to some exhaust setups with the prochamber and the h-pipe and go with the one you like the best. I went with the prochamber because I think it sounds good with any catback. The h-pipe tends to sound better with chambered style mufflers, IMO.

Youtube is a good place to listen to mustang exhausts. www.mustangexhaust.com used to be a great site, but they have redone their site and there isn't a whole lot of sound clips on there anymore.

not much hp difference.
i agree with tim2002GT...the prochamber sounds awesome paired up with basically any aftermarket muffler. An offroad prochamber creates more of a deep defined growl, but is quieter than both an offroad H and X.

I was told that the h-pipe stop's making power after 3500 rpm's because the exhaust gas is moving past the intersection point. With a pro chamber or x-pipe the exhaust gas flows thru the intersection point all the time which helps make power all the time. I went with the pro-chamber.

My friends Jay just swapped his O/R H for the Prochamber. He insists the car feels faster. He said he noticed a for-sure gain in the "seat of the pants" feel.

I tell you what, the car sure does sound sweet!

I like the prochamber sound, but went with the o/r h anyway.

Check out http://www.03sbgt.com/mustang for sound clips. Click on "Videos"

imo, sound is what your paying for. It's truly unique when using a chambered muffler. It's also quieter than stock under 2K RPMS, but after that it screams. O/R Prochambers PC-9900 are on backorder everywhere except CA. Ohio expects stock this friday. I'm going the o/r prochamber route.

Your only talking a few horses one config to another. If loud is all your after and want to wake the dead, get an o/r X and SLP LM2 catback imo. I can hear this setup miles away coming down the country road.

X pipe has like 1-2whp gain over H pipe, but I like the H pipe sound better. Sounds like muscle.
