o/r x-pipe...?

well...just when i was ready to take the stang out all summer long for all the joy rides...i got an OWI and cant drive for basically the entire summer...but, i wont have to spend a good 20-30 dollars a week for gas which will let me save a good 500 or so to drop on an o/r midpipe. i dont really want to waste the money right now though since im a college student if i dont get a good sound difference compared to it w/ just magnapacks on. it sounds real nice and deep now, but i want it to be louder & deeper...so what should i get...o/r x-pipe or h-pipe? if it doesnt really make a sound difference i was thinking about getting a new hood (maybe the stalker hood) for the looks...or just retint the windows & get all the scratches & crap repainted...or maybe even throw on some rims...my car is laser red & im not sure if black rims would look any good on them...but if not maybe some chrome cobra's or saleen's...who knows...any ideas or input on spending a good 500-1000 for a summer present for the stang?!

i already got the magnapacks on it so i was just looking for a midpipe...do all of yall really think it will make my exhaust noticably louder than what it is w/ the magnapacks on?

get an x-pipe IMO. I think they make better power. I mean if the did not manganflow, bassani, slp etc would offer h- pipes.

the best stainless option is VRS as it is the cheapest. magnaflow second cheapest.

I you want alumized to save money, look at the flowtech if you have a 5 speed. very cheap and the x is up closer to the collectors and this tends to make better power. It looks very similar to the dr. gas for a bout half the price.


ohh by the way with the packs you car will be very loud. some like it, some will wish they had went with cats.

With an x-pipe and stock catback your car would be louder than it is now with the stock mid-pipe and magna-p's. You will love your car all over again with an o/r pipe.

yeah thats what i was thinking...some ppl i know said it would probably make it twice as loud which would be a definite plus, but then again they dont have stangs or magnapacks on their exhausts...the magnapacks are awesome and sound great...but after about a year they are just not as loud as it use to be! so i just didnt want to drop a good 500 dollars on parts & labor on a mod that i wont get that much from right now since im just another broke ol college student...should i match the midpipe w/ the catback (magnaflow)...or should i look for something like bassani?
