I just purchased a wideband O2 sensor with display and datalogging, and I have a question about what's going to happen when I remove one of the stock O2 sensors.

The control box with the unit I bought has an output wire that will supply narrowband (0-1v) data to the ECU in place of the missing sensor, but I need to know whether I'm going to get a check engine light because of the stock sensor not physically being connected.

I know I can avoid this problem by putting the wideband O2 sensor in its own bung, but I'm not keen on having someone weld extra holes into my pipes if I can avoid it.

I would also like to know (Nick?) if the Predator I have on order will help me get around this.
