i have an 02 gt stock except for exhaust. recently noticed that it using gas like its going out of style. i'm talking a quarter tank after only driving a few miles. then the service engine light comes on. so, i take it to autozone to decifer the codes and it turns out that 2 o2 sensors are bad. is that why my car is throwing down gas? also, the car's idle varies. when i depress the cutch, rpms hover really high (around 2-2500k) and then sometimes when it drops down to where it should be, it idles ROUGH.....like its a dragster camming and the car shakes back and forth. it has 115000 miles and has never needed anything......any ideas? thanks!!

At the risk of stating the obvious, when was the last time you replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter, and PCV valve?
What happened after the O2 sensors were replaced?
When opening technical posts it is allways best to post the full DTC code. There are 1000's and they each have a story to tell.
