OBD II scan...p1443

Okay, I've had this cel for a while on and off. Finally got it scanned.
P1443 EVAP condenser purge (mechanical) or VMF ...
or something like that.
WTF? Does that mean i have water in my gas? Can i fix this? I'm clueless so any help would be nice. Thanx.

Assuming that your Cobra is a 1996 the code response I have is:
