probably a stupid question, but im curious.

how does it work going to run? you just pay at the booth, and go line up for the track? i am 17, is there an age limitation? kind of considering making a pass since ill have my heads and stuff on by then.

if someone could give me a quick layout of how it works, id appreciate it.

See the car pictured to the left -it's pretty distinctive? Come find me and I'll tell you what to do. I plan on being there early.

I'll try and go. Anybody going on the 23rd? Thats homecoming day for me, but i've got it all planned out lol. get to the track at 7:30, run till 2, then go get ready then go through all that bs. Then when homecoming is over, go find some rice to race lol. I dont know if my car will be back together by then. Picking up the tranny tomorrow and then waiting on my aluminum flywheel and spec stage 1 clutch. Got some heavy duty u joints and new pilot bearing and whatnot to put in there. I hope it'll last me a while. If its done and its running good and everything i'll be there. I gotta mount my nitrous bottle and then get it filled, hope the new tires and **** hook good. Probably wont though :(

 i keep a pretty mellow outlook on my car.

id expect to get my ass eaten alive by 90% of the people out there, just have a couple mods on my car now and would be interested to see what i could get out of it.

i might hold off until the beginning of next year or the next time im up there to try it. all everyone needs is my dumbass out there confused on a big event.

thanks for the info

You have more mods than my '87 speed density car and it runs 12's. The only way to get experience is do it.

It'l be good to see you there, Steve.

It will be bracket racing which will guarantee three passes. In the past, the track has allowed TnT after the bracket racing ended. In that situation you'd get as many passes as you wanted. With a combination Ford and Chevy day, it's difficult to predict the number of passes you'll get. I know one thing for certain, if you want to time your car, you have few days left for the next five months. This is usually the most interesting track day of the year. You'll see many older Mustangs and Ford Muscle cars that normally don't go to the track. If you have the least inclination to time or race your car, attendance at this event is a must.

You should be fine in that Saleen long as not run faster than I THINK 13.99. At that point you need a roll bar or cage, not sure..

OHHH bring a approved helmet, all Vert drivers/passengers must have one.
