octane requirements?

I'm looking into buying a 96 cobra but before I do, I need to find out if it needs premium gas or not. I've looked all over the internet but as of yet havn't been able to find out the answer. Thanks to anyone who can help me out with this one.

I think all the cobras have premium for their recommended octane but it wont hurt the engine to use lesser octane. I dont think your engine will run to its full ability with lesser octane's.

It will hurt the engine to use a lesser octane. 91+ only.

Absolutey use 91+ and as you add mods or tuning go to 94 and stay there. Also, do not use low grade/no name gas. It only takes one missfire to end the fun.
