I was doing a little work on New Sadie today and decided I'd mess with the windshield washers.

New Sadie had the nozels and the pedal, but no hoses to the nozels, the hoses from the pedal were cut at the firewall, and no reservoir. So I figured I'd just pull the missing stuff off of Old Sadie.

So I unbolted the reservoir, went to put it on New Sadie and there's no mounting holes. There's little dimples in the sheet metal where the holes go, but no holes.

Was windshield washers an option? Why would she have the pedal & nozels, but no where to mount the reservoir? Unless maybe she didn't originally have anything and the PO decided to install it, but didn't finish.

Just thought it was kind of odd.

Oh and I found my power steering leak. It's just a hose & not the control valve.

Could have had the apron replaced at some point, or it was ordered without it along with the heater delete, making it a real rubbermat special.

i'd bet it has a replacement apron, check it out carefully and i believe that's what you'll find.

The apron is original. It has the same original coating as the rest of the engine bay (same coating that was over the firewall plugs for the heater hoses).
