Anyone know why my odometer quit working or what is envolved in replacing and odometer cable? Yeah, I can hear the comments already, like why would you want to replace it etc. It's already a low mileage Mustang (95GT with 61,000 miles on it)

Yeah, I live in Bluewater, work on Eglin. It is both the trip odometer and total mileage odometer, would it still be a gear?

Yes it could still be a chipped tooth on the gear causing the issue. 1 gear ($25) drives both.

I just replaced the gear on mine - had the same symptoms - speedo works but no odometer/tripmeter.

Easy install.
