Did the 94-98 ever come with a single din CD player setup? I don't mean the AM/FM/Tape with Slave CD setup. I just mean one din slot...but a CD player like this?

Ignore he pocket underneath

Well for sure not in a '94. I have the '94 Ford Electronic Sound System operating guide and that unit is not illustrated. My car has the Mach 460 system and the CD is a slave unit.

Thanks, if it wasn't in a 94..pretty sure it's not in later years then. This player was kinda short lived

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

My 95' Mustang only had the single CD player just like that. It was an option to be ordered either way.

Just got done replacing the amplifier in a '95 GT (thanks davis3), it had the Mach system with the single CD slave unit. I usually see the CD/Radio in the Crown Vic's.

I need to find one that is compatible with the 1993 style fox amplifier.

I don't listen to the radio in my Fox, and am a sucker for clean stock looking interiors...so i want to put it back. Any of you guys have one you want to get rid of? I'd only ask to see the plugs on the back to even see if it's the same plug setup as the 1993 radio

The CD player was a 1993 only option...so it's tough to find. That's why i'm trying to source one from other vehicles. Even though I don't listen to the radio...i don't want a tape player. I don't own any tapes, so a cd player would be nice to have
