Do I have to remove the smog equipment to add an off road h-pipe?

Yes and no..the car is registered in Indiana. I live on a military base in ca. But I just updated my decals so I won't have to get it tested again for 4 years but I should be out of here by then. I do not want to take smog equipment off. The whole exhaust is shot so I'm wanting to do a prochamber.

In that case just run a short belt and bypass the smog pump

nope, noth with it bypassed via the short belt. you run into codes being thrown when the smog stuff is improperly yanked
