*OFFICIAL* 2008-2009 NHL Thread

hey... i bought a pair of red wings on saturday!

oh wait, this is about hockey.... blah!

I leave to go on vacation and come home to the Flyers sitting at 0-3...Great way to start the season.

Ugh, Flyers... It took them 4 games to get their first point (overtime loss). We are already 9 points behind the Rangers. Got a lot of catching up to do.

HABS FOR THE WIN

Musta been a short lived hockey thread.

Go Pens

Kev WTF is going on!? I wanted the Wings to shut that whinney little Betman fudgpacker up.

The refs totaly blew the call on Stall in the first. Had the Wings gone on the PP everyone knows they would have scored and would have totaly shut down the Pens. The NHL wanted to have a game 7, no PP for the Wings until the 3rd when everyone is tired and I'll bet if it werent for a high stick to the head, they wouldn't have called anything.

I hope the Wings run over the Pens in the first period on Friday!

Go Pittsburgh go!!!

Title town's not gonna be in Boston anymore

w00t!!

You hockey fans are pathetic, 5 posts since November and 2 of them by an NFL thread poster.

Glad to see Pittsburgh win it

Pens > Wings

Dunno how I missed this but here I am anyway...

Made a big adventure out of it and took my girl to games 5, 6, and 7. She's out in Detroit and a Wings fan, I am an equally big Pens fan.

Game 5 was no fun, the road trip to the Mellon (my first time there) was awesome, and Game 7 was amazing. Especially with the Penguins winning! Got to party for over an hour at the ice w/all the other fans and got a ton of photos. On top of that we're part of a playoffs pool and at the end my pick of Pens in 7 put me on the top so I have a nice check comin' my way soon

I'd say Go Pens, but they've already gone and done it.
