f'in right now how do i set this stupid draft up so i can get my damn running backs picked first wtf u gotta be kiddin my nuts last year it was a option so far this year its not a option.
Go to the main log in screen for the league. You will see DRAFT PREP in that box there is an option for RANK PLAYERS scroll down a little and you will see a drop down menu set it to CUSTOMIZED RANKS: DRAFT ORDER then click on RANK PLAYERS.

Draft day, 1 week from tomorrow . Will be interesting to see how things turn out. I have the day off for draft day.
For those of you playing for the first time this is how the points break down as far as how you earn points w/ your players and lose points.
Scoring Point Values
Each week your team will compete against another team in your league in a head-to-head matchup. During a matchup, each of the players in your 'starting lineup' ('active' players) for that week will earn points based on their actual statistics from NFL games. The charts below list the statistics and their corresponding point values.
Offensive Statistic QB, WR, RB, TE, K
Passing, Rushing or Receiving Touchdown (PaTD, RuTD,ReTD) 6 points
Passing Yards(PaYD) 1 point for every 25 yards
Rushing Yards(RuYD) 1 point for every 10 yards
Receiving Yards(ReYD) 1 point for every 10 yards
2 point conversion(Pa2P, Ru2P, Re2P) 2 points
Passing Interception(PaInt) -2 points
Fumble Lost, including ST plays (FL) -2 points
Field Goal(FG) 0-49 yards = 3 points
50+ yards = 5 points
Extra Point(XP) 1 point
Offensive Fumble Recovery Touchdown(OFRTD) 6 points

I am sure most of us if not all have draft day off. We should poll and see if we all do. If so is there a way to switch to a live draft? That would be so fun.
i DO have the day off, but i'd rather not do the live draft..... i will likely be hung over/tired, cause i have a buddy coming friday, and we'll be partying in dallas all weekend for my coworker's bday. i have a feeling i wont feel up for a draft the day before another week of work, lol
To late now its already been set. If even one person is not around for the draft its not fair. Why sign up to do this if your going to get shafted on your pics. It was done as an automatic draft last year so that's why it was done this year. The reason I put the draft off to right before the season was b/c of player injuries. An automatic draft is fair to EVERYONE, doing a live draft is only fair to some. I dont want to hear bitching all year long b/c some people got better pics b/c they were there for the live draft and others were not. There are pleanty of good players left in the free agent pool and you can still trade players. The pics you get on the 1st are by no means the team you have to keep.
Is there anything I need to do prior to 9/1/08? I checked the "ranks" for players based upon what they have listed on the site, but honestly, those don't mean much to me at this point.
You can change their ranks, its how high you want them drafted. Each position is afted on it own.
Example...
Your QB daft pick is up. If you think one QB will do better then another QB then you want to have him set higher in your ranking order. When you get 1st pick for a position (its on a rotational basis, you will get 1st pick some rounds and last pick the others) then your top ranked player will be picked first, so on and so forth.
And yes you and to set your ranks before the 1st, you can chagne them all you want up until then but once the 1st comes your drafter order and rankings are set.

Overall Im very happy with the team I got no complaints at all as long as the players I got live up to their expectations. Im really looking foward to this years fantasy leage it should be a ton of fun especially now that we have are teams. Im in the same divison as TheRican....that should be fun

The only thing Im not to happy with is my RB situation. Maroney is good Im keeping him but Aham Green and Jonathan Stewart not so much. Im stacked at Wide Reciver, Im wiling to give up Jabar Gafney (WR) for New England for a better running back. If anyone has a decent RB and is in need of a better receiver feel fee to contact me about it.
EDIT: I dropped the two RB's I did not want and picked up other guys. I still have Gafney though for anyone who needs a WR, Im open to suggestions but Im pretty happy over all w/ my team. I got San diego as my Defense and the Ravens as my back up.....that's a huge back up team to have and takes away a starting defense from someone else

I can see you got the old man again, but he did well for you last yr but not being w/ green bay we'll have to see how he does, plus he plays against the patriots twice
You go peterson as well, he was one my my top running backs. I didnt do as well at RB but as soon as my drops/pickups go through I'll be in good shape. My WR Core though is STACKED!!I'll set mine now...who knows if I will have power Thurs?
Good point, that would suck losing power and not having your team set the way you want it by thurs.
I had big ben last season. He did well for me you should have the same results this year with him.
With out Kidd Posting in the football thread or playing fantasy football it opened up the chance for me to grab Peyton Manning who I had second behind Brady. I still can't believe I got him. I got the 10th pick in the first round and still ended up w/ Peyton Manning
I know hardly anyone on my team. Just Lewis and Westbrook. My team will probably get smoked this season.
