Official BM Saturday night

I'm sorry man... I got lost (errr... behind) too... but I just pulled 90 in the carpool lane to catch them :D it ended up alright... cought a biker, which led to a cobra... just get some of our numbers so you can call if you get lost...

-btw, there was a massive accident on I-5 south.... something like a car falling off the bridge over I-5, crashing down and hitting a few other cars, 5 people had to be literally cut out of their cars, and rushed to harborview, and 3 people dead from what I heard...

man, all you who didn't make it (or got lost :D) missed a really nice cruise... one of the best I've done w/ you guys yet... although, haven't done Pony Trails yet, and that should be hella nice this year!

-I'm finishing up my plans for my next 2 mods... should REALLY REALLY help w/ my mid range HP... so, I should be able to punch it in 3rd on the freeway, and just go! :nice: :D

Kalin....yes yes, I know.....I should be attending, and I definately want to.....I just have my reasons I guess.

Brian, how about a GPS navagitonal system for a next mod??? Power doesn't help when you don't know where you are going. LOL, just kidding....sorry. hehehe

I was doing ok, but since I only have about 15 pounds of air in the ET Streets, when I got on the highway and hit the construction where the roadway is all grooved -- at high speed, the back end got all squirrley -- like driving on ice or spinning the tires. I think it's partially because it's all metal bushings, no rubber to absorb anything. I had to slow way down and almost lost it a couple times in the process (not fun!).

I did catch up with a couple people periodically, but with all the lane diving I saw and traffic in the way I had no idea where anyone went.

yeah... great night to have the top down. next time take 405!

89mustangGX: i was wondering where you went. i saw you in the traffic and thought you were behind Jet. sorry we lost ya.

so what's next? Alki is fun... gotta bring food (chips and dip or something)

this weekend is dyno at carb conn. i'm going to try and be there for a little of it and see if i can squeeze in a quick pull.

Dooh! I was checking out the Chevelle and Camaro with the 506 cc motors and then when in to get a shake. I'm standing inside waiting for like...ever...for them to make it and look out the window to see a line of stangs leaving. Arggh :bang: :bang: :bang: Next time I'll chan myself to the car. :D

Doh, that sucks.. I could have ran you in the cobra ;)

yeah, so, I'm looking into some cheap suspension work... anyone used, or heard any comments about the Mach 1/Bullitt struts and shocks? I was going to add one of those setups to some Ford C Springs, so lower a bit, and make a lot stiffer... I know this isn't the right thread, but I figure since ya'll be the one critiquing them once I get them, it'd be nice to hear your opinions :D

Very happy with the Bullitt setup. Open tracked it last year, bone stock. I just talked with Brads Custom Auto and they are gonna do MM full length subs, Steeda adj. aluminum upper/lower control arms soon, but maybe we can arrange a ride before that :D
