here's a doosy! it's stuff i've put together over the past 2 yrs since i got into mustangs. there maybe a thing or two that is iffy only because when i've actually gone to pull a part from the vehicle it either had a reman upgrade or someone bolted on another oem part from another car. but for the most part it's GOLD! enjoy

I have that list (wazazzle's post above) saved on my computer from a long time ago and didn't want to post it because I didn't know who to give credit to. Now I do.Thanks

just for the record....MarkVII was 1985-1992, not just 91.

Transmission:
AOD: stang -93, Tbird -93, cougar -93, crown vic -91, marquis -91
AODE windsor 1994/95 3.8 or 5.0 stang, forget trucks.

Lincolns and trucks have AOD's as well, but they are 1" longer.

preffered AOD's are 1989 begining of NON accumulator VB's, and 1990-1993 with stamped steel internals.

my all time favorivte "pocket" item is on the pre 1985 fox mustangs. You know the little plastic clip that holds the hood hold open rod in place when not in use (usually broken)? on the pre 1985 mustangs they are metal, take the metal clip and screw the post 1985 cars accept this part with no modification.
Also The taxi cabs, Crown vic have a heavy duty radiator like a 4 core that is exactly the same as the fox body unit.
Its the little things that count.

So both the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe and 94-98 Mustang rears are direct bolt on parts with disc brakes and standard track width?

This thread got brought back from 2005!! Damn.

I recommend finding 99-04 PBR's with 94+ spindles for your fox. Guys....if you have stock fox brakes, this 5 lug and brake mod is a must! The car stops way better. Looks way better too.

ALMMOST every part of the drivetrain and interior from 79-04 can be swapped out. so i guess someone should make a right up on that.

how much time do you you have SVT?

Time? To do a write up? Ohh man, I'd have to do that after work. That will take me a while and I will lose my thought with having to answer phones and take care of customers.

I know this is back from the dead, but I want to clarify that it's actually '86 Mustangs and older that have the metal clip. My '86 does, at least.
