Im pretty sure insurance will cover 100% of it. Right now Im working on getting into to see a doctor (being recommended my my insur.) since I was banged up pretty good and I woke up this morning with half of my face swollen.

Air bags didn't deploy (which surprised me since I smacked into him doing 30+)

I swear, I think Mustangs are car magnets. I've had 10X the number of people pull out in front of me in the month I've had my car than in 6 years of driving my F150. Also, it seems like more people ride my ass in the stang too.

I have to agree! What is wrong with people?? I go out of my way to avoid these people. Seems like the more I try to avoid them the closer they get! A$$holes!

Race

Not that i would pass up a good race, im just tired or honda *insert model* with more colors than my 42 inch LCD HDMI TV can support, pulling up to me and reving there vtecs leaving a trail of parts behind them.

That does suck, I hope it gets all fixed for you and that your all a-ok.

It is possible that you can get a cobra front put on I believe, you will have to pay the differance in the parts cost and for any extras that may be needed to mount it(fogs, bolts, fittings etc).

I had a friend who owned a Olds Achieva S model and after he ran into the back of a van he was able to have the SCX front end put on during the repair work, far as I remember the only thing he had to pay for was the extra cost of the front bumper cover and for the fog lights since the S models didnt have them.. and this was through All State insurance.. something to ask about when the time comes maybe.

T-boned an idiot @ 30mph after he pulled out ahead of me to cross the road.

Some are saying that it is likely that my car will be totaled? Theres something wrong with the motor too. Its running REALLY rough and likes to die when Im stopped.

Same exact thing happened to me with my 02 GT. I never even turned the key afterward...power steering fluid reserve had impacted the cam cover...and I suspect there was more damage to the engine than that. Also, my air bags blew. I think I was going a little more than 30. Mine was totaled. In the end, I'm glad they did...a few days later I found my sweet, low miles, lightly modified and done right, 2004 Mach 1.

Dealing with insurance is never any fun. Even when everything goes smoothly, it's still a pain in the ass. One step at a time is good though.

Make sure you can take it to a shop that is known for good work.

Did they hook you up with a rental car?

Just a little update.....

Total damage came out to be $7000. Yes, that's right......$7000! The insurance company handling the claim (other driver's insurance) estimates the value of my car to be $8500, so I came REAL close to a total.

This whole situation has turned out to be a complete cluster ****! The insurance company took WAY TOO long conducting their "investigation". Even with the police and accident reports clearly stating that their driver was 100% at fault, they insisted on taking almost 4 weeks to "investigate". Finally, they came to the conclusion that yes, their driver was at fault and they needed to cover 100% of the repairs to my car. Great.

Well, a week later, they up and decide that their driver WASN'T 100% at fault and that I was 20% responsible (which was total bull****). They subsequently said that they would only cover 80% of the damages. BULL****!

My attorney has been involved since day one and was just as PO'd as I was when I told them what UAIC was now saying. So my attorney contacted them to discuss the situation and, as my attorney so blatantly put it, they wouldn't budge an inch and were downright disrespectful. My attorney and I are now filing a lawsuit against the company. We have every intent to take these clowns to the cleaners (so-to-speak).

So, as the situation lies today, it has been well over a month since the accident and my car has yet to even begin being repaired. Word to all those who would rather avoid any future headaches, STAY THE **** AWAY FROM UNITED AUTO INSURANCE COMPANY

I will keep those who are interested posted on whats going on

Complete Crap.

I wouldn't fight it at all, and I wouldn't want your car after that damage.

I would take the 7 assuming your car is paid for, and walk away. Get a new car, and change insurance.

Good luck to you, that is really a tough spot to be in, and I have been there in 98gt.
