I find it fiunny when people try to say, I like this when selling a car, you may like it thats fine, but its what the people like, not what you life. Chrome ponys dont belong on that car, im just telling you how it is. If you built this car how YOU like dont ever expect to get your money back...

I accept your opinion that chrome ponies dont go on the car, but I am certian there are many others who would disagree with you.

They look better than stock silver ponies and it maintains a stockish appearance. Thats what I was after. Thats why it has a scoop instead of a cowl, thats why it has the florida 50 cluster instead of a huge tach on the dash. I wanted classic clean fox body look and pure muscle under the hood.
I dont care what other people like. This is my car,I built it the way i like and thats all that matters, If people cant look beyond a $600.00 set of chrome pony wheels to see the value of the car then thats their problem.

dude keep the car. before I got my stang I had a 00 z28 that I had built up and I sold it not long after I got married so we could get a house. not a day goes by that I dont miss that car and if I had to do it over again I would never have sold it. you put enough time and energy into a vehicle you have built it may as well be family.

Look at it this way...it only has to be temporary. Buy your house, save up, and buy another Stang to build. It's in your blood - you can't help it!

Yeah getting another one will be easy. Prolly a year or so.

But for Right now I have a pretty cool driver. Its bagged and has polished Torque thrust wheels. Its a GM product but I like it. Ill prolly keep it as a DD for when I build another stang.

Hey - I have no problem with GM daily drivers. As long as it's American, it's ok with me. My DD is a Grand Prix GTP, and my wife drives a Dodge Stratus, so I can't say much.
