Oil cap breather

No not at all, it stays in pretty well once you get it in there....

Actually, if you can find the same one I have in a "screw in" type I would recommend it, just because it would make things easier.

I believe it was 7-8$.

they also have a sheilded open element filter, and a regular open element filter....no my only question is...will the closed one actual allow enough breather to occur??

I'm guessing it will. I don't think the "breathing" is absolutely necessary, or else people couldn't use oil caps. But yes, i believe it has enough holes in the bottom to "breath"...

Well i dunno, but i stand by it just because it fixed my problem.

...actually tomorrow im gonna hit up one of the local ford dealers and order it through them...see if its any cheaper...cuz its a $8 part with a$9 handling charge....

I use a breather and no pcv line out of the side of the filler tube and it works great.
You can click in my sig at the motor pics and see the one I have. It's a Ford Racing push in type, it was the same price around $10 at a local speed shop.

You might want to do a search about putting a breather on the valve cover without modifying the pcv valve.

Ya but your running the open filter kind Striped, I guess your supposed to have the closed filter type.
