Oil Change?

i have a 97 GT with 77,000 miles on it. i was wondering what kind of oil i should use now because i have high miledge. ive seen oil that say use high miledge oil if you have a car over 75000 miles. is this better than regular oil for my car now or should i stick with regular oil. also i use 5W30 but does it matter what brand i get like between mobil 1 ,pennzoil ,castrol gtx or whatever one. thanks.

Mobil 1 10W30 and a K/N oil filter every 3K miles/3 or 4 months.

the only thing ur gonna run into with using synthetic oil at that mileage is blow-by. i did the same thing in my cruiser, it had 80k on it and i changed to full synthetic 10/30. start the car up, and all sorts of smoke poured out untill it was warmed up. id just stay with a regular non synthetic oil.
