Take some pics of your engine from all over. Post a frontal shot under near the steering rack and all over. Post pics of the valve covers from the top down to show how close to the strut tower they are. Does the engine look like it leans to one side?

well, i cant take pics right now because its too dark. and tommorow morning the car goes to the body shop to have the rear bumper re-sprayed.... the motor does lean to the side just a small big, very small big actually
this IS a fairly common problem and I run into this atleast twice a year wth customers and "yes" the Motorcraft FL-757 seems tobe a "cheap" solution to the problem, lmk if you need one as we keep them in stock......

dont know as I've never asked "why"....... I do know for a fact that a few of the people who bought them were doing a new engine install wth new mounts and aftermarket "K" members......so it coulds be either an engine mount issue, aftermarket "K" member issue, or????
oh and I think I remember atleast 1 case of a 99/00 GT DOHC (wth the "odd" Windsor) oil filter housing hitting the frame on launch at the track....
