oil galley plugs?? leave the front ones in or what?

I just installed a set of cams and had my PI heads resurfaced and checked and I left out the oil galley plugs off the front of the heads behind the timing cover. Was i supposed to leave those ones in? Because my car is acting as if its not got enough pressure to get the oil to the lash adjusters and there tapping and very loud. Help guys

I didnt mess with my plugs in the front at all, the way the heads came from ford was the way they stayed and I dont have any problems. You could need new chain tensioners, but thats a real pain in the ass to replace if the front cover is back on already.....

There are TWO plugs on each end (front and back, for a total of four) on each cylinder head. One is big, the other is small. The small plugs should ONLY be installed on the back of BOTH heads. In other words, leave the 2 small plugs out of the front, but the larger ones must be in.
