Oil Leak

Ok so my car went to the dealership today for an oil change and they tell me that I have an decent oil leak on the right side of the motor. WHere should I start looking to find it (cuase I"m not paying the $100 just to tell me where it is is at) I haven't noticed anything lately and I hope it is nothing major. Any ideas?

park your car on some clean asphault. look for a little puddle of oil and follow it up into the engine compartment. a flashlight and a rag will be useful.
check your oil pan for leaks.

you may also pressure wash your engine before you do this to make it easier on you.

Get some of the engine oil dye(forget the name of it) that you dump in the motor and then let run and go over it witha blacklight. It will glow under the light. Easiest way I know of to find the leak.
