Engine Oil level sensor plug.

Short version, my oil level sensor plug deteriorated into nothing. Half of that nothing is still in the sensor. When I remove this how much oil should I expect to come rushing out at me?

Also, it looks like a single wire connector, think I can get by with some-kind of regular style electrical connector? The plug is $40 that I don’t wanna spend.

Couple quarts + a little.
what part is gone? Not sure I understand what has deteriorated.

This part. The half that by the wire is gone, the half that connects to the sensor is in the sensor but seems to be largely mush

I would check ford to see if you can do better price wise.
I believe I do not have any spares

I’d vote to order an eBay weather pack kit for like $3 bucks and just change the ends
