How worried should i be having some oil on my plugs on a 98000 mile motor. I don't beat on the car to much will the motor still last a while or should i be shopping for a new one.

You'll be fine for awhile, sounds like its just burning alittle oil. Keep adding it and your all set, thats what I do!

I'm guessing its on the part of the plug thats outside the motor?

If so its probably just valve cover gaskets leaking.

a compression test will tell exactally why there is oil on the plugs unless its on the outside as stated above by 88mouse then the valve cover gaskets would be the problem. click on link below for info. on compression testing..

Thanks. they definitely were not oil fowled. Just wet around the threads. otherwise they look good compared to the chart. I'm definitely going to print that page for further reference.
