I have a 98 GT with nitrous. I change my plugs every 3 bottles....and whenever i pull them out the electrodes look fine...no detenation...no nothing.....but this past weekend i pulled out number #7 (i think, its the driver's side rear plug) and the electrode tip was dry but the threads were SATURATED in oil (maybe mixed with a bit of fuel...judging by the smell), is this a cracked head? or maybe just something stupid? The car is running absolutely fine with no smoke or missing....HELP

You might have cracked your intake a little. Those stock 96-98 intakes sucks and nitrous doesn't help them either.

No oil journals in the intake, just coolant. have you done an oil change lately? Spill any oil? Maybe a leaking valve cover gasket or PVC valve. Check that out first. I wouldn't sweat it too bad. If you really want you could try to do a compression test on that cylinder.

Thanks for the info guys.....i guess i won't sweat it untill she blows! Put the first bottle through her this weekend.....and she eats it like a fat kid in a candy store!

Oh and JL, nitrous......speed thats cheap......went from a 14.6 @ 96mph to 13.3 @ 108mph (best time)...with a drag suspension set up, and minor bolt ons.....real good time....especially purging it at a red light next to a car that has more stickers than rwhp! lol Thanks again guys.
