Looking for some help here....I just added oil to the engine...read right at the bottom of the dipstick...but now, when I start the car up...oil spits out of the exhaust pipes...I have an oil separator installed...what could be causing this??
you might want to try asking over there then. Im sure Tim will be more than willing to offer his advice.98stangv8 said:I just had the engine built by mph last march?

Straight oil from the pipes would mean it's getting to the exhaust valve but not going through the combustion chamber.. not likely with a newer MPH built engine.. I'd double check to be sure it's not actually just mucky water.
Edit: Oil separator keeps oil out of the intake manifold, and even the little bit which gets in there is burnt.. wouldn't show up as straight oil in the pipes.
