I have this moroso oil pan in mind for my swap, and I just wanted to make sure if it was the correct model. The reason I ask is because it says rear- main seal style: 1-piece. Summit part # Mor-20520

Is that the oil pan rear seal or the block rear seal?

They advertise as knowing/having all you need for a 351 swap. If you gave them a call they would know every thing you need to know about oil pan swaps.

That means rear main seal. Although there are plenty of FMS swap kits on early blocks.
I really think they mean it is for a block with a dipstick tube hole, cause there won't be on ein the pan.
Someone here will have used one, just keep waiting...

Summit said the pan wont fit a stroker on thier site? whats your setup?

I used a canton with no problems. it has an external dipstick and i just put some rtv in the hole in the block. Fits just fine as long as you don't use drop mounts.

Its not a stroker, just bored 30 over. I have a '79 block, which I believe is a 2 piece rear main seal. I wondered about that pan because it fits our year stang. But I wondered about the rear main seal style

bjl95- which canton pan are you using? I will be using a qa1 k-member so clearance isnt an issue.

I'm using a qa1 k-member and the canton barley clears the ps rack.

I have a canton for a 351 fox swap.

I got the pan from a buddy. I traded him my 5qt pan and some cash for it.
