oil pan gasket.

anyone know of a really good pan gasket? i have the one i got with the northern auto rebuild kit but it seeps due to pressure so im wondering where i can get a high quality pan gasket, im using the 87 tc engine.

Well, far as I know, the one piece rubber gasket is about what there is...

You might try getting one from Ford, it's probably higher quality than a Fel-Pro one.

Or silicone the crap out of yours.

What makes you say it's seeping due to pressure?

well my oil level is the same as my last oil change. but the underside of the car has a glaze of oil under it. iv cleaned it up before but every so often when i check it out theres that glaze again. and theres oil on the pan and i can see where it comes from on the pan too. so i assume when i stomp on it the blowby pressure just cause's some to seep out, not to mention its full synthetic with probably doesnt help the situation much, but it doesnt leak though.

It probably just leaks...most do. I doubt it's pressure related.

Are you sure it isn't coming from the front seal?
