Today i had a jack slip and my car dropped down and the jack pushed the front of my oil pan in :bang: . I'm wondering if there is any way to get the oil pan off without pulling the engine? If not then this gives me a good excuse to put the PI heads that i'm getting in this week right on my car and i'm looking for a cheap set of headers to put on the car while the engine is out. Thanks for any help that anyone can give me.

You have pretty much two options. Take out the trans and jack the engine up to get the clearence or lower the k-member.
If you are getting a set of PI heads and plan to do the swap soon anyways. I would just go ahead and pull the motor out. It would be a lot easier to do the swap and replace the pan with it out of the car.

Yeah i'll probably just wait till i get a chance to lift the engine out and swap out the head while i'm at it. I still can't beleive i made such a bonehead mistake.
