Oil pressure/Water Temp/Tach guages

Off the top of my head, IIRC the gauges in the 66 dash bezel are around 2 1/16th inch. (I could be thinking incorrectly also) Lots of hacking needed to fit some of these gauges.

There is a constant voltage regulator (CVR) behind the dash that could be your problems. CJ Pony Parts has a picture on page 192.

I used autometer sport comp and ABS gauge bezel in my 65 fastback. just my low buck way of making things work.

I will send you the info this evening, I have the part #s etc... I will give you the cost and vendor...

I purchased a dash and gauges from Haneline for my 66 coupe, and it is the most worthless setup I ever wasted money on.
The new dash mount is flimsy plastic, the gauges are too deep to clear the dash braces, so the gauges wont sit into the dash properly.

At any rate, turned out to be a waste of $500 in my opinion.

If you could send me your parts list as well, I'd be appreciative.

That does look dam good. I bought the Haneline as well for my 65. I have it all in and its working well, though I do have a speedo problem with my cable. My one complaint is that the gauge panel was VERY FLISMY...heck without that metal part, I think it would have fell apart. Also I do not care much with their numbering system, and the instructions were faded and sucked, but overall its does not look so bad, and ANYTHING is better than the idiot dash.

In retrospec, I should have found a cluster panel that fitted my 65, and built my own gauges. But oh well.

Wiring Harness:
If you want to keep your under-dash area organized or you think that you need to remove gauges from time to time then you need to install our universal gauge harness. It will connect all major brand gauges including Auto Meter and VDO and works with most dash layouts and sizes.

You do not have to use the harness if you prefer to just buy wire and make your own connections. I just prefer the ability to be able to remove the gauges without cutting etc…
