Has anyone ever have an Autometer oil sender go bad on you?
Mine worked until the oil milkshake that was created with the first oil change after the head gasket install. Can they go bad after that or is it repairable by taking it apart? It's killing me to not see oil pressure and the car idles fine and quiet.

I did a search for a new oil sender and think I found my answer in this cool article Installing an oil sender on a 95 GT

"Be careful here! There's what appears to be a thumbscrew underneath the top nut on the sender. If you move it, you'll break it!.
Just remove the nut. You may have to hold the lower portion with pliers to keep it from moving."

Uhmm.I had no clue about this...
But I think I found the problem now.
