this might sound like a dumb question but, the plug on the side of the oil pan is the low oil sensor? its leaking like crazy is there a way to replace it without removing the pan?
I replaced mine and it still leaks from the sensor itself. I need to wait til next oil change to pull it out and inspect. I might unplug it and stick a bolt in. I drive maybe 500 miles per year between changes...so The risk is low.
Btw, you will need tom drain the oil pan before removing it.
its more of a pain in the butt cleaning the oil up more than anything, im not sure if its worth the money for a new sensor and gasket. i guess next oil change i will probably stick a bolt in it.
