Alright my friend and I have spent 8 hours getting these BBK Headers on and battery relocation...and we CANNOT get the two bolts on the first cylinder on the headers on the driver side. Along with getting the rest of them tightened. I took the motor mounts off and lifted the engine about 6 inches and there is NO ROOM still!!

Friend that goes to automotive school suggested remove driveshaft and tranny crossbrace and lift engine up more. What do you think?

Also motor mounts are SHOT so have to wait a week from Ford because no auto parts store carries them I hate ford so it will be awhile before car is back together.

I had to use a small wrench and get in there..its a BITCH! lol for some of the bolts, you can only get one notch rotation of the wrench in at a time. Its a pain..good luck oh yeah..you also might try using a few extensions with a swivel...that worked for me for a few of the bolts, btw

ditto, just got to get a small one & take your time, cause like he said you can only get a very small rotation per turn, so be patient & you'll get it

btw- did you drop the k-member, or just take loose the motor mounts?

I used a ratcheting box-wrench on a lot of the nuts. BTW, if you used the BBK-supplied bolts plan on lifting your engine again later to retighten them on a regular basis.

We just pulled the m/m didn't feel like dropping the k member. That sucks that you have to retighten them....we were going to use threadlock but you would have to heat them to get them loose. We used the swivel and extensions but still no luck. I feel like right now. Should have saved more money and had someone do them. Thats retarded that the bolts come loose dam bbk

I guess I will go buy a ratcheting wrench and try that I have used those before and worked really good. We just cannot get those first two bolts on the driver side even in.
