i just ran the first foxbody i've ran against in years and LOST. i'm soo mad right now ....time for more go fast goodies...

sorry, just wanted to vent my frustration.

mods.... it was on a rural highway in the middle of the sticks with no one around. if you still feel the need to remove the thread, do so.

man you know this, no matter how fast you are there is someone faster. -should be a law of physics.
only thing left for you is some type of induction or NAWZ.
i recommend a 50-100shot......but then its bad if you get caught with it (well then agian getting caught racing these days is scary period).....

Without knowing his mods, you can't really compare. I know exactly how quick your car should be, we make very similar power! There's no shame in losing a race, I have lost to a lot of cars (on the track of course). Have you had the car tuned again and running to it's potential?

A solid HCI car should walk a couple of cars on you at your power level. If he had more cubes, or a power adder it isn't really that bad that you lost.

Edit: In all seriousness...I have a Zex wet shot I haven't even touched on my car. Looking to get a better tune on N/A and on a 125 shot tune....should be fun

yeah i know what you mean. i just haven't ran anyone since i put the heads and cam on and there's not really a lot of fox's around here anymore, let alone built ones. I was just expecting to spank him, it caught me off guard when he spanked me! hahaha. nah i haven't had the chance (or money) to take it back to the dyno since i've swapped stuff around. i plan on it soon though.

yeah, it seems i need more suspension stuff. the control arms and new shocks/struts/springs helped a LOT coming from the original factory stuff, but she still burns through the first two gears.

haha these thumpers REALLY woke the car up! but yeah i agree, when money comes back around, i think it's time to upgrade to some aftermarket aluminums. i've been really thinking about getting a 100 or 150 shot lately too and getting a flip chip for an n/a and nitrous tune. let me know how it runs!
