You CAN use the Speedcal with whatever speed sensor gear you have.

Here's what I bought and brought to the Mustang shop to have my rearend installed:
  • Traction Lok Rebuild FMS-M-4700-B
  • Royal Purple Gear Oil: RPO-RP01300
  • Ring Pinion Install Kit FMS-M-4210-C (If you are getting the Superior axles you may can get this kit w/out axle bearings and seals for cheaper since the superior kit comes with them?)
  • ...and the 4.10s

Wish I would have done this... (hindsight is 20-20)
28-spline Superior Axles SAG-EV83-28

Oh well, that just means I'll have to upgrade to a 31-spline unit in the future.

50resto dosent have any whiter ones (that I see) and they dont have 23 tooth ones. That why Im confused. I always though it was 23 tooth and they dont even have them.

when i installed my gears i also replaced the wheel bearings and seals .its easier to do it now that later and click on links below for parts...you don't have to change them but its a good idea ,talk to your mechanic about it i bet he will recommend it most autoparts stores keep these in stock..you will need 2 each in the links below..

From my notes:
Jeep Part #j3167393 3.73 Gear Ratio / White 23 Speedo Gear (Not 100% accurate. This combination will offer the best accuracy without changing the drive gear. Change drive gear to a 6 tooth for complete accuracy.)
