I have a 91 5.0 5 speed i have a trickflow upper and lower intake, Cran Cam Trickflow heads, BBK Headers ,H Pipe, Cold air intake and Ripper shifter, and a flowmaster exhaust (no cats) now i was just wondering if you guys could give me an idea of whatkinda hp numbers i would be making on this and maybe what kind of 1/4 times

I'd take it to the track/dyno yourself.. you probably won't be happy with the #'s you're about to get...

Well to tell you the truth i could care less about this 5.0 lol i just was wondering its my old car and ive always wondered so i figured what the hell find a fourm n ask (i switch to a SS..yea i kno im a trader but that ls1 just cought my attention )

Theres no way. my SS would just destroy my 5.0 ive lost to z28s in that thing. i think it was so slow because it didnt have a good tune. but it was my 1st car so ill always love the 5.0

You were probabbly pushing close to 300hp with that setup.

Depends on what cam he has. It can throw off his combo.

Now i had a 03 cobra on the line ready to be in the drive way but the A HOLE at the dealership wouldnt take my check because i got it threw a online loan company (capital one) and so he wouldnt sell the car to me. so i had to settle for the SS..but once i get my turbo put on i will go find that guy an lanch all over his ass

btw you know ls1 z28s and ls1 SS cars are near identical in performance right?

which trickflow intake?
which cam? what specs?
which headers? long tube? shorties? equal length?
Which Trick flow heads?
shifter won't help ya horse power! lol
cold air intake can actually hurt your hp (in some cases)!
flowmaster exhaust.......21/4" or 21/2" or 3" ?? which is it
flowmaster mufflers?? flow tubes?? or not? 3 chamber or 2 chamber mufflers?
which H-pipe? 2 1/4" or 2 1/2"....3"???

horse power could be anywhere from around 230 hp or up to around 340 hp depending on combo! With right amount of fuel, timing, and matched up parts tune it could possibly fly! with wrong tune, to much or to little timing, not enough fuel or to much fuel.......it could be the biggest pig you've ever seen. Its all about combination..........
does it have any 3:73's in the rear end? are they stock gears (2:73's)??
which tires?? hard compound, soft compound??? do you power shift or granny shift????
are the front tires aired up all the way? do you run wide arse front wheels that drag your cars rolling potential down??

all kinds of factors are involved in 1/4 mile times..........

good luck...........if ever you decided to sell the chitvy, get back in here and we'll be glad to help ya spank many many of those wanna be SS's!

yea i know, they say the SS is a little quicker, i mean i take Z28's by half a car? its all about the driver really. but anyway my 5.0 would get stomped my ne ls1 (unless it was stock had rims a system it was a droptop and has 230k miles oil never changed )
