Ok 1st: i bought a trick flow street heat upper and lower and spacer, it is used so what all gasket's will i need to buy? also i'm offered the T.B w/o egr will this work on my 95 w/o the EGR hooked up? and will it pass emission's? what will i gain by using and not using the spacer?

2nd: the tube/pipe (copper one) going from the EGR to the header isnt hooked up will it pass w/o this if i desided to stay with the stock T.B?

3rd:i might be installing the heads that i have that were mentioned in another post i made should i buy new push rods or will the ones with the heads work

4th:i'm also going to go with a set of new headers what will work better, equal or unequal lenth? what brand bassani or JBA's? either way i will go ceramic coated.

5th: does anyone have a trick flow elbow for sale for a 95 so i can use the intake

6th: do you think i can pass wa. emisions with this set up: pullies headers 76 C&L fuel pressure at 45lbs. mac 2 cat hpipe and jeff (AFP) maybe you can help on this one what did you set my timming at? peace

Deleting EGR will not do anything for your car but make it run like ****, and the ??? about the headers i would get equal length the sound is alot cleaner and smoother. The downside is equal length headers is a pain to install.

1. Gaskets: Intake to heads ones, and maybe an elbow to upper plenium one if they do that on SN95's.

2. have no clue

3. I thought only TW heads needed a different length pushrod, maybe try and search it or call a tech from Ford Performance.

4. I bought Equals, they are really quiet with stock heads, prochamber and Magnaflows, but should be louder with a higher flowing head. Get Bassani's if you have the money.

5. nope

6. should be able to, but I am not an expert because I dont have emmisions in BFE.

Just my .02

After running both equal and unequal, I will never again even think of running equals.

The ...what like 1% power loss.... is not worth the headache of install, changing plugs, plugwires, clutch cable clearance, etc........

(i like my 1.75 ceramic mac's)

Manifold will not affect pushrod length. Heads, or rockers could, but not the manifold.

Back the timing down a few degrees (2-3) and back the fuel psi off like 2 lbs and you should cruise right through.

Good luck,
Dave-

1. By spacer, I assume you mean phenolic spacer? Between the upper and lower manifolds? If this is the case, you will need two upper to lower manifold gaskets, as well as the two head-to-lower manifold gaskets. Also, you will need the front and rear seal gaskets (block to lower manifold). The EGR is part of the manifold, not the throttle body. Unless you have a chip that deletes EGR, I would recommend you retain it. I deleted it and have had no problems. However, I can only speculate at how it will impact your emissions. I have been told that deleting that portion of the system will have little impact. As for this "spacer"...if it is a 1" phenolic spacer, you will have to install a cowl hood to clear the intake. The function of this piece is to cool the intake charge temperature, which creates more power. If you can run it, I recommend you do.

2. As stated above, you would have to see how it impacts your emissions. The car will run fine without it. However, blocking it off is another story....one that leads me to recommend that you retain this piece by purchasing the requisite adapter elbow for your manifold.

3. Your stock push-rods will work fine.

4. As far as I have been told, your car would run best with equal lengths. Have fun spending an inordinate amount of money on shorties.

5. Freaking order one.

6. Turn your fuel pressure back to stock, and run premium fuel. This will burn the fuel more thoroughly and efficiently. If you still run 87 octane, you are probably at 10 degrees initial. Otherwise, you are anywhere from 12 to 14 degrees initial.

yes it's the spacer between the upper and lower and it's a 3/8 spacer, i just got the cervini's cobra r hood so clarence should'nt be a problem.

i just went yesturday and ordered the trick flow elbow form blue oval!

do you mean the push rods from my engine or the one's from the engine that the heads came off of? i dont mind the price as long as there bassani!they are 1.94 valves BTW

i always run 92 or the highest test i can find just put in $10.00 yesturday and got a whopping 2 and some gallons  peace

For emissions it can be helpfull to run crap gas (87). It burns quicker and more completely in the time alotted for combustion, and since your not under any load to speak of durring the test, its not a problem. You dont want any unburned hc floating around at idle to fail ya...
But if you set up is good, it shouldnt make enough difference to worry about so whatever is in the tank should be fine.

J & J can get ya through....
